About Me

I am a Canadian and an American Citizen, I love both my countries. I am a fully Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in private practice. While building my private practice I worked in a children’s residential facility and in community counseling agencies. I began practicing counseling after 17 years working as an elementary class room teacher.  

I enjoy working with adults, children, adolescents and parents. My goal is for clients to feel supported, to be given space to grow and to safely work through difficult issues. I am trained and experienced in helping clients work through anxiety, depression, relationship problems, emotional dysregulation, separation anxiety, parenting issues, traumatic events, low self-confidence, life transitions and general self improvement.
